During this presentation, author and researcher Lisa A. Lark will discuss her work researching more than 180 men from the Grosse Pointes who gave their lives in military service. She will share details about the research process, tell the stories of some of the Pointes' fallen heroes, and explain how to access military records for genealogical purposes.

Join the Grosse Pointe Symphony Orchestra for an outdoor summer concert on the waterfront! The War Memorial back lawn will be the picturesque venue for this special performance. Folding chairs will be provided, or you are welcome to bring your own outdoor summer chairs or picnic blankets.

For our final concert of the series, we celebrate the blues, a genre that holds the distinction of being perhaps America’s greatest cultural gift to the world, serving as the foundation of Jazz, R&B and Rock’n’roll music.
