Join us as we break ground on the next chapter of The War Memorial Theatre, then stay as we celebrate the occasion with an outdoor community screening of the 1985 classic Back to the Future.
The evening begins with a public groundbreaking ceremony marking this important milestone and recognizing those who have helped bring the project to this moment. Guests will also have an opportunity to explore the vision for The Veronica Alger Theater and learn more about the film, performance, programming, and community experiences the renewed space will make possible.
Then, we’ll celebrate together with a movie night on the grounds, offering a glimpse of something our community has been eagerly awaiting: the return of film to The War Memorial.
