You will receive recognition for joining the Moorings Legacy Society in our marketing and materials, enjoying privileges with our special donor events and the knowledge that you are making a difference!

- Bequests: Gifts specified in a will or trust, typically stating a percentage or specific amount of an estate or assets to be donated to The War Memorial.
- Charitable Remainder Trusts (CRTs): Donors transfer assets to a trust, from which they or another beneficiary receive income for life or a specified term, after which the remaining assets go to The War Memorial.
- Charitable Lead Trusts (CLTs): Trust assets generate income for The War Memorial for a specified term, after which the remaining assets pass to beneficiaries designated by the donor.
- Life Insurance Policies: Donors name The War Memorial as the beneficiary of a life insurance policy, with The War Memorial receiving the policy's proceeds upon the donor's death.
- Retirement Accounts (IRAs, 401(k)s): Designating The War Memorial as a beneficiary of all or a portion of retirement account assets upon the donor's death.
- Real Estate or Property: Donors can make an outright gift or a gift of real estate or other property to The War Memorial, often receiving a charitable deduction for the fair market value of the property.
