Why? Write Now!

A 90-Day Writing Experience at the Grosse Pointe War Memorial

You’ve been carrying a story, an idea, or a half-finished draft longer than you’d like to admit. Maybe it’s been waiting patiently. Maybe it’s been tapping you on the shoulder. Either way, this is your invitation.

Why? Write Now! is a 90-day writing experience designed to help you reconnect with your voice, build momentum, and make real progress on your writing—without pressure, perfection, or pretense. This workshop blends structure, encouragement, and community in a setting meant to inspire.

Phase 1: Foundations & Momentum (Weeks 1–4 | In Person) February 4 - 25
The first four weeks are fully in person at the Grosse Pointe War Memorial, creating a strong, supportive start. These sessions focus on reconnecting with your creative voice, clarifying your goals, and establishing writing habits that work in real life.

You’ll gain:
• renewed focus and inspiration
• clear direction for your writing projects
• increased confidence in your voice
• connection with a supportive community of writers

Phase 2: Integration & Growth (Weeks 5–12 | Hybrid) March 11, 25 & April 8, 22
The remaining eight weeks move into a hybrid format, combining virtual sessions with bi-weekly in-person meetings at the Grosse Pointe War Memorial. This phase is about sustaining momentum, reflecting on progress, and strengthening habits that allow your writing to continue beyond the workshop.

You’ll leave with:
• sustainable, realistic writing routines
• deeper trust in your creative voice
• clarity about how to carry your work forward independently

Whether you’re beginning something new or returning to a long-paused project, Why? Write Now! offers the space, guidance, and accountability to help your writing take shape.

Your story matters.
Your voice belongs here.
Now is a very good time to write
