Bridging Service and Safety: Verizon’s Veteran Support & Digital Wellness Workshop

This engaging session highlights Verizon’s long-standing dedication to the military community while equipping veterans with vital digital skills for today’s connected world. The presentation is divided into two core segments:

Supporting Our Heroes: An overview of Verizon's deep-rooted commitment to active-duty military, veterans, and Gold Star families. We will share information on exclusive military plan discounts, career initiatives, and healthcare partnerships.

Cybersecurity & Digital Wellness: A practical, interactive workshop designed to empower veterans online. Attendees will walk away with easy-to-use strategies for spotting phishing scams, protecting personal identity and financial data, and securing mobile devices.

Held bi-monthly, The War Memorial’s VetConnect Seminar Series provides veterans with a welcoming space to learn, connect, and find support. Launched in early 2024, this free program features speakers from respected veteran organizations and partners. Each seminar offers valuable insights and resources on topics that matter most to veterans, fostering both education and community.
