We’re taking the VetConnect Seminar Series on the road!
For the July VetConnect Seminar at The War Memorial, join us as we hit the road for a daytrip to the Selfridge Military Air Museum.
The free lunch and seminar for veterans is planned for Tuesday, July 14.
Your day begins with lunch at The War Memorial, followed by a bus trip to the Selfridge Military Air Museum in Harrison Township.
At the museum, you’ll go on a two-hour guided tour exploring aviation and military history.
Inside the museum and on the outdoor display grounds, you’ll find a range of aircraft, and exhibits spanning more than a century of military aviation.
Highlights include historic aircraft used by the U.S. Air Force, Navy, and Air National Guard, Cold War–era jets and helicopters on the outdoor display ramp, military vehicles, and more.
Held bi-monthly, The War Memorial’s VetConnect Seminar Series provides veterans with a welcoming space to learn, connect, and find support. Launched in early 2024, this free program features speakers from respected veteran organizations and partners. Each seminar offers valuable insights and resources on topics that matter most to veterans, fostering both education and community.
