Featuring the At-Will Band.

tickets

Experience Detroit’s music scene in a whole new way with Night Cap—an intimate concert series inspired by the spirit of Tiny Desk. Hosted inside the War Memorial’s historic Alger House Library & Reception Room—once the very space where the Alger family welcomed their most distinguished guests—this evening feels like stepping back in time and being personally invited to one of their premier soirées.

Guests will enter through the grand double wooden doors and step into the Reception Room’s timeless elegance, where French doors open to sweeping views of Lake St. Clair. A full cash bar will be available for you to enjoy as you mingle and take in the atmosphere. From there, make your way into the Library, where the concert will unfold in one of the most intimate and storied spaces of the Alger House.

This edition of Night Cap features the soulful sounds of Detroit’s own At-Will Band, filling the room with smooth vocals and rich grooves. The intimate setting allows audiences to connect deeply with the music and the musicians themselves, making every note feel personal.

A full bar will be available throughout the evening, while VIP guests enjoy premier seating and a complimentary drink to begin their night.

Thank you for your support!

For over 75 years, The War Memorial has been committed to its original dual purpose set forth by the Alger family: to serve as a perpetual memorial to servicemen and women whose sacrifices ensure our freedoms and to provide a vibrant center for community enrichment. Today, as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, revenue from ticketed events and support from our partners and donors directly contribute to continuing this mission. Together, we ensure The War Memorial remains a welcoming place to honor veterans, create lasting memories, and serve the community's well-being for generations to come.
