When the lights shimmer and the music fills the room… the Sweetheart Soirée begins!

Calling all 6th–8th graders to the ballroom of the War Memorial, overlooking Lake St. Clair, on Thursday, February 5, 2026, from 6:30–8:30pm for an unforgettable evening of music, friends, and festive fun.

Students are encouraged to dress to impress in their favorite Valentine-inspired looks, whether that means classic chic, playful pinks, bold reds, or a touch of sparkle. Style awards will be given for standout outfits, so bring your confidence, your creativity, and your best dance-floor energy!

Each ticket includes a voucher for one slice of Jet’s Pizza (pepperoni, cheese, and gluten-free available). Additional slices, chips, and cookies will be available at the snack bar for $2 each. Both cash and credit are accepted. A complimentary water station will keep dancers hydrated throughout the night.

Want to join the fun as a chaperone? Your child will receive a free ticket to the dance! Email ce@warmemorial.org if you’d like to volunteer.
