Back to School Bash:
A First Day Back Middle School Party

Middle School Dances, a tradition of The War Memorial dating back years upon years, have inspired countless memories. Kick off the new school year in style at our Back to School Bash! This dance takes place on Thursday September 26th from 6:30-8:30pm.

Students are encouraged to sport their coolest back-to-school outfits—think bright colors, trendy accessories, and fun sneakers! Prizes will be awarded for the most stylish and on-theme attire, so come ready to make a statement!

Included in your child’s ticket will be a voucher for a lemonade and their choice of snack (either a bag of chips or candy). Vouchers can be used at the snack bar. Additional items will be for sale at the snack bar, and a self-serve water station will be available throughout the night.

Chaperone Positions have now been fulfilled. Thank to anyone that has shown interest!

Since 1949, The War Memorial has been committed to its original dual purpose set forth by the Alger family: to serve as a perpetual memorial to servicemen and women whose sacrifices ensure our freedoms and to provide a vibrant center for community enrichment. Today, as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, revenue from ticketed events and support from our partners and donors directly contribute to continuing this mission. Together, we ensure The War Memorial remains a welcoming place to honor veterans, create lasting memories, and serve the community's well-being for generations to come.
