This free special veterans gathering is set for Thursday, Aug. 20 from 6 to 7 p.m. Typically held in the morning, we’re switching this summer edition of Vet-To-Vet up by having it in the evening, and on the back lawn! This is a chance to meet with fellow veterans, share stories of service, and enjoy the beautiful lakefront lawn.
Whether you're recently discharged or a seasoned veteran, The War Memorial’s Vet-to-Vet gathering is a chance to join in camaraderie and endless stories of courage and honor. Your service deserves recognition, and this event is our way of saying thank you for your dedication and sacrifice.
Additionally, yard games will be set up for you to enjoy at your own pace — whether you're in the mood for some laid-back fun or ready to spark a little friendly competition.
