The War Memorial will serve as a drop-off site for theFree Bikes 4 Kidz non-profit on Saturday September 27th from 9am-2pm.
Over the last seven years, this non-profit has given underserved kids in the Metro-Detroit community 14,614 bikes – each one with a new helmet – getting kids started on a happier, healthier childhood. They're goal this year is to collect 3,000 bikes in one year, but we can’t do it without your help!
Drop off a used bike at the War Memorial or one of the other donation sites across SE Michigan and FB4K will refurbish it and give it to a child in need.
War Memorial staff will be set-up outside the Carriage House to collect bikes from 9-2pm.
