Did you know that The War Memorial has two endowment funds with the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan? They are entitled the Grosse Pointe War Memorial Endowment Fund and the Youth Enrichment Fund. Due to the selfless giving of generations of donors, each one helps fund our mission of enriching the community through our multifaceted programs, events, classes, and partnerships.

The Youth Enrichment Fund also assists The War Memorial’s Children’s Enrichment Fund. This scholarship fund was started in 2023 to nurture the potential of every child by providing access to high-quality classes and activities to those who are experiencing monetary difficulties. Financial constraints should never be a barrier to a child's access to education, artistic expression, or recreation.
