March 2023 theater update: After considering the results of our community survey from 2022, The War Memorial is in the preliminary phase of architectural and design work, in hopes of bringing the theater back to our campus. We will keep the community posted as more information becomes available. The theater has been closed since 2021 due to damage sustained from flooding.

As the survey period has ended, we want to thank patrons, partners, donors, and friends who took time to provide valuable input. As we continue to strive to provide quality programming for our guests, we will review responses from the community survey to help us improve our services.
On June 25, 2021, The War Memorial, like so many in our community, experienced substantial damages from the harsh storms in our area.
The beloved Patriot Theater suffered greatly from the storm, with water flooding our entire orchestra pit and destroying our stage and seats. Within days of the storm, we realized the damage was irreversible. Inevitably, the theater had to be completely gutted to prepare for restoration and the massive renovations that will allow us to open our doors and take the stage once again. While a devastating loss, our staff remains committed to our mission to serve and uplift our community. We look forward to the future and a new robust lineup of world-class performers, thought-provoking lectures, and masterful films.
