Welcome to the grosse pointe war memorial

The Grosse Pointe War Memorial is a center for enrichment in honor of veterans.
This heritage venue is located along the picturesque shores of Lake Saint Clair in Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan and is designated as a state and national historic site. Formerly the home of the Russell Alger family, this mansion built in 1910 was donated to the community in 1949 in honor of the veterans that served in World War II. The Grosse Pointe War Memorial is currently used for a multitude of programs that focus on personal enrichment in dance, art, music, health and theatre and serves as a venue for a variety of celebrations ranging from weddings to fundraisers.
