Weekly Friday night trips to Pine Knob

Join The War Memorial's Ski Hi club! The club is open to students who reside in Grosse Pointe or attend Grosse Pointe schools in grades 6 through 10. Trips are held weekly on Friday nights starting January 5, 2018. The Ski Hi club is a terrific way to learn to ski, snowboard, or improve your skills.

Membership fee

$37 for the season

Membership is required to attend Ski Hi trips, and must be purchased in-person at The War Memorial.
Parent and student are must come in-person to the War Memorial to sign up. Please bring a 2" photo of the student and proof of health insurance.

Equipment rental

When renting equipment, a parent or guardian must complete and sign the Equipment Rental form prior to child's participation in the program. Bring this form to the first trip attended and turn it in to the Pine Knob rental office. Snowboards, skis and helmets are available for rent. Purchase on the trip registration page.



Volunteer chaperones are welcome to attend Ski Hi trips. For the protection of all children in attendance, we require any volunteer who works with or has access to children to be screened through the Internet sites for the Sex Offenders Registry (SOR), the Internet Criminal History Access Tool (ICHAT) criminal history records check, and the Offender Tracking Information System (OTIS) prior to participation in any program or activity.
