Silent Book Club at The War Memorial

In partnership with the Friends of the Grosse Pointe Public Library

Join us at The War Memorial’s Silent Book Club! Bring your current read—no assigned books, no pressure. Settle in, find a cozy spot, and enjoy an hour of peaceful, uninterrupted reading. We’ll kick off with a quick chat to get comfortable, then dive into our books. Perfect for introverts, book lovers, and anyone looking to unwind. All are welcome!

Come enjoy complimentary coffee and tea, and stay for the calming joy of reading in good company.

Cheese & cracker boxes in addition to a selection of wine will be available for purchase. (Served at the War Memorial only)

Meeting Itinerary

6:00-6:30pm - People arrive, order drinks/food, share what they're reading
6:30-7:30pm - Quiet reading hour
7:30-8:00pm - Optional socializing, or just keep reading
