Visit the world's foremost museum devoted to the celebration and preservation of rock & roll music. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame offers many unique exhibits that span the history of music. This will be a self-guided tour, so you may visit as many of the exbits that you are interested in. There is a café inside the museum where we can enjoy lunch. We will also visit the USS COD Submarine of the William G. Mather Steamship.

We will get to know the local growers, vendors and store owners. Also included in the tour is exploring some of the stunning art murals along the way. After the tour, patrons will have time to shop and explore the market on their own.

The Michigan State Capitol opened on January 1, 1879, to great acclaim. Michigan’s Capitol holds a special place in American history as one of the first state capitol buildings to be topped by a lofty cast iron dome. It was designated as a National Historic Landmark in 1992. On our docent led tour, we will stop and see the Legislature session in progress. We will take a break and have lunch at Bravo Cucina Italiana, before heading to the Michigan History Center Museum to discover more history of our great state.

Founded in 1965, the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History has, for over half a century, been a leading institution dedicated to the African American experience. The Wright Museum houses over 35,000 artifacts and archival materials and is home to the Blanche Coggin Underground Railroad Collection, Harriet Tubman Museum Collection, Coleman A.
