Hosting a Social Event

What time can I host an event?

Daytime events can be held between 11am and 4pm.
Evening events can be held between 6:30pm and midnight.
Please note that the Grosse Pointe War Memorial is open on select Sundays for your catered parties and events.

What can we provide?

The Grosse Pointe War Memorial provides all food service. Table linens, napkins, china, flatware and glassware will be provided. Courtesy parking is also included.

What will I need to provide?

Please prepare to bring your own photographer, music and alcohol if these are services that you wish to have at your occasion. A beverage handling fee will be determined as a per person amount and will include the costs of the bartender, wine steward, mixes, garnishes, glasses, ice and all gratuities.

What catering options are available?

We have cold and hot luncheon options for showers priced at $13.25 and $16.25 respectively. Special Occasion Dinners are plated and served and range from $25.50 to $33.00. Or, you may choose a buffet style dinner at the price of $27.50 per person and are subject to 6% Michigan sales tax and 20% service charge.
